Unceba yam, umboniselo yam, Ungxonde yam, umsindisi wam, mna lo; Ungweletshetshe yam, undizimela ngaye; Ulonyathelela abantu bam phantsi kwam.

Yehova, uyintoni na umntu, le nto umaziyo? Unyana womfo, le nto umnyamekelayo?

Umntu lo ufana nomphunga, Imihla yakhe injengethunzi elidlulayo.

Yehova, thoba amazulu akho, uhle; Phatha ezintabeni, ziqhume.

Banekisa imibane, uziphangalalise; Thuma iintolo zakho, uziduba-dube.

Thuma izandla zakho, zivele phezulu; Ndirhole, ndihlangule emanzini amakhulu. Esandleni soonyana bolunye uhlanga;

Abamlomo uthetha inkohlakalo, Abasandla sokunene sisesokunene sobuxoki.

Thixo, ndokuvumela ingoma entsha, Ndikubethele umrhubhe ontambo zilishumi;

Ulonika ookumkani usindiso, Ulohlangula uDavide umkhonzi wakhe ekreleni elinobubi.

Ndirhole, ndihlangule esandleni soonyana bolunye uhlanga, Abamlomo uthetha inkohlakalo, Abasandla sokunene sisesokunene sobuxoki;

Baze oonyana bethu babe njengezityalo ezikhulileyo ebutsheni babo; Iintombi zethu zibe njengeembombo ezivathisiweyo ngeemfakamfele ngokokwakhiwa kwebhotwe;
