Oh YHVH, tenle en cuenta a David, Todas sus aflicciones.

De cómo juró a YHVH, Y prometió al Fuerte de Jacob:

Ciertamente no entraré al abrigo de mi casa, Ni subiré al lecho de mi reposo,
4
Ciertamente no concederé sueño a mis ojos, Ni a mis párpados adormecimiento,
5
Hasta que halle lugar para YHVH, Tabernáculo para el Fuerte de Jacob.
6
He aquí en Efrata oímos de ella, La hallamos en los campos de Jaar.
7
Entremos en su Tabernáculo, Postrémonos ante el estrado de sus pies.
8
¡Oh YHVH, levántate al lugar de tu reposo, Así Tú como el Arca de tu poder!
9
¡Vístanse tus sacerdotes de justicia, Y griten de júbilo tus santos!
10
Por amor de David tu siervo, No hagas volver el rostro de tu ungido.
11
En verdad juró YHVH a David, y no se retractará: Un fruto de tus entrañas pondré en tu trono;
12
Si tus hijos guardan mi Pacto, Y mi testimonio que Yo les enseñaré, Sus hijos también se sentarán sobre tu trono para siempre.
13
Porque YHVH ha escogido a Sión, La ha deseado para habitación suya:
14
Este es para siempre el lugar de mi reposo, Aquí habitaré, porque la he desea do.
15
Bendeciré abundantemente su provisión, Y saciaré de pan a sus meneste rosos.
16
Vestiré con salvación a sus sacer dotes, Y sus santos darán voces de júbi lo.
17
Allí haré retoñar para David un Vástago, Dispondré una lámpara para mi Ungido.
18
A sus enemigos vestiré de ver güenza, Pero sobre él resplandecerá su corona.
