¡Oh YHVH, escucha mi oración! Por tu fidelidad atiende a mi súplica, Por tu justicia, respóndeme.

No entres en juicio con tu siervo, Porque ningún viviente podrá justificarse delante de ti.

El enemigo persiguió mi alma, Ha postrado mi vida contra el suelo, Me ha hecho habitar en tinieblas, como los que hace tiempo han muerto.

Por tanto mi espíritu desfallece dentro de mí, Mi corazón está desolado.

Me acordé de los días de antaño, Medito en todas tus acciones, Reflexiono sobre la obra de tus manos.

A ti alzo mis manos, Mi alma te anhela como la tierra sedienta.Selah

Oh YHVH, respóndeme pronto, porque mi espíritu desfallece, No escondas de mí tu rostro, De modo que yo sea como los que bajan al sepulcro.

Hazme oír por la mañana tu misericordia, porque en ti confío; Hazme saber el camino por el que debo andar, porque a ti elevo mi alma.

Oh YHVH, líbrame de mis enemigos, Junto a ti me refugio.
10
Enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, porque Tú eres mi Dios, Tu buen Espíritu me guíe por tierra llana.

Vivifícame, oh YHVH, por amor a tu Nombre, Por tu justicia saca mi alma de la angustia,
12
Por tu misericordia silencia a mis adversarios; Destruye a todos los enemigos de mi alma, porque yo soy tu siervo.
