¡Bendito sea YHVH, mi Roca, Que adiestra mis manos para la guerra, Y mis dedos para la batalla!

Misericordia mía y fortaleza mía, Mi baluarte y mi libertador, Escudo mío, en quien me he refugiado, El que sujeta a mi pueblo debajo de mí.

Oh YHVH, ¿qué es el hombre para te fijes en él, El mortal para que lo tengas en cuenta?

El hombre es como un soplo, Sus días como una sombra que pasa.

Oh YHVH, inclina tus cielos y desciende, Toca los montes, y humeen.

Despide relámpagos y dispérsalos, Envía tus saetas y confúndelos.
7
Extiende tus manos desde lo alto, Rescátame y líbrame de las aguas caudalosas, De la mano de extranjeros,

Cuya boca habla falsedad, Y cuya diestra jura en falso.
9
Oh ’Elohim, a ti cantaré cántico nuevo, Con salterio de diez cuerdas te entonaré salmos,
10
Tú das la victoria a los reyes, Tú protegiste a David tu siervo.
11
Defiéndeme de la espada cruel, Líbrame de la mano de extranjeros, Cuya boca habla falsedad, Y cuya diestra jura en falso.
12
Sean nuestros hijos como plantas crecidas en su juventud, Y nuestras hijas como esquinas labradas cual las de un palacio.
13
Estén llenos nuestros graneros, Y provean toda clase de grano, Sean nuestros rebaños por miles, Y diez miles en nuestros contor nos.
14
Nuestro ganado vaya bien cargado, sin ruptura y sin pérdida, Y no haya grito de alarma en nuestras plazas.
15
¡Cuán bienaventurado es el pueblo que tiene esto! ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el pueblo cuyo Dios es YHVH!
