Kérlek, ne perelj velem, szolgáddal, hiszen veled szemben senkinek nem lehet igaza!

Ellenségem üldöz, összetör, földre tipor, életemre tör, sírgödör mélyére akar taszítani, a rég meghaltak közé.

Szellemem már fárad, reményét veszti, szívem is dermedten hallgat.

Mégis eszembe jutnak tetteid, Örökkévaló, elgondolom éveimet és kezed munkáit.

Feléd nyújtom kezeimet, szomjas lelkem utánad sóvárog, Örökkévaló, ahogy a száraz föld esőért kiált! Selah

Siess hozzám, Örökkévaló, segíts, már alig pislákol bennem a szellemem! Ne fordulj el tőlem, mert hamarosan a halottakhoz leszek hasonló!

Hadd halljam minden reggel újra jóságodat, hiszen benned bízom! Mutasd meg, melyik úton induljak el, mert hozzád emelem lelkemet!

Örökkévaló, hozzád menekülök védelemért, ments meg ellenségeimtől!

Taníts akaratod teljesítenem, te vagy Istenem! Jó Szellemed vezéreljen engem egyenes úton!

Mentsd meg életem, Örökkévaló, saját magadért! Igazságod szerint húzz ki a bajokból!
12
Mutasd meg, hogy szeretsz, és verd meg ellenségeimet! Pusztítsd el, akik életemre törnek, mert szolgád vagyok!
