"Le ombre dei morti tremano perfino laggiù, sotto il mondo marino.

Il regno dei morti è nudo davanti a Dio; l' oltretomba non gli è nascosto.

Dio stende la volta del cielo nel vuoto e sospende la terra sul nulla.

Egli racchiude l' acqua nelle nuvole e queste non si strappano per il peso.

Stende le nuvole sopra il suo trono e non lo lascia vedere.

Dio ha tracciato un cerchio intorno al mare per separare la luce dal buio.

A un suo rimprovero il cielo ha paura, le sue colonne tremano di terrore.

Con la sua forza Dio ha sconfitto il mare e con la sua intelligenza ha vinto il mostro marino

Con il suo soffio Dio schiarisce il cielo e la sua mano trafigge il serpente in fuga.

Questi sono piccoli esempi delle sue azioni, soltanto l' eco di una sua impresa. Chi comprenderà il rombo delle sue prodezze?".
