Liels mūsu Kungs un varens spēkā, viņa gudrībai nav mēra.

Pazemīgos Kungs pieceļ kājās – ļaundarus viņš nogāž pie zemes.

Pateicieties Kungam ar dziesmu, spēlējiet cītaru mūsu Dievam,

kurš debesis mākoņiem aizklāj, kurš zemei sataisa lietu, kurš kalnos izaudzē zāli,

kurš dod zvēriem viņu iztiku, kraukļu bērniem, kad tie brēc!

Ne zirga spars tam tīk, ne par vīra lieliem tam prieks –

patīk Kungam tie, kas viņu bijā, kas cer uz viņa žēlastību.

Cildini, Jeruzāleme, Kungu, slavē savu Dievu, Ciāna,

jo viņš stiprina tavu vārtu bultas, viņš svētī tev viducī tavus dēlus,

viņš noliek tavās robežās mieru, visbaltākiem kviešiem piepilda tevi!

Viņš sūta savu pavēli zemei, žigli skrien viņa vārds!

Viņš bārsta sniegu kā vilnu, sarmu kā pelnus kaisa,

met savu krusu kā drupačas – viņa sals liek ūdeņiem sastingt.

Viņš sūta savu vārdu un kausē tos, viņš pūš savu vēju, un ūdeņi plūst.

Viņš pasludina savu vārdu Jēkabam, savus likumus un lēmumus Israēlam!
