Lăudați-L pe Domnul! Căci este bine să cântăm spre lauda Dumnezeului nostru! Da, cântarea de laudă este plăcută și potrivită!
2
Domnul construiește din nou Ierusalimul și-i strânge pe cei risipiți ai lui Israel.
3
El îi vindecă pe cei cu inima zdrobită și le leagă rănile.
4
El calculează numărul stelelor și le cheamă pe nume pe toate.
5
Stăpânul nostru este mare și plin de putere; priceperea Sa nu are margini!
6
Domnul îi ridică pe cei smeriți, dar pe cei răi îi apleacă până la pământ.
7
Cântați Domnului cu mulțumire! Cântați spre lauda Dumnezeului nostru cu lira!
8
El acoperă cerul cu nori, pregătește ploaia pentru pământ și face să răsară iarba pe munți.
9
El le dă hrană vitelor și hrănește puii de corb când aceștia strigă.
10
Nu de puterea calului se bucură El; nu în picioarele omului Își găsește El plăcerea.
11
Domnul Își găsește plăcerea în cei ce se tem de El, în cei ce își pun speranța în îndurarea Lui.
12
Adu laudă Domnului, Ierusalime! Laudă-L pe Dumnezeul tău, Sionule!
13
Căci El întărește zăvoarele porților tale și îți binecuvântează fiii în mijlocul tău.
14
El dă pace în teritoriile tale și te satură cu cel mai ales grâu.
15
El Își trimite porunca pe pământ; Cuvântul Lui aleargă repede.
16
El așterne zăpada ca lâna și presară bruma precum cenușa.
17
El Își azvârle gheața în bucăți; cine poate sta înaintea frigului Său?
18
Apoi Își trimite Cuvântul și le topește; când Își pune vântul să sufle, apele curg.
19
A făcut cunoscute cuvintele Sale lui Iacov și a descoperit hotărârile și judecățile Sale lui Israel.
20
El n-a lucrat așa cu niciuna dintre națiuni, și ele nu cunosc judecățile Lui. Lăudați-L pe Domnul!
