這聲音對我說：「必朽的人哪，站起來！我要對你說話。」

這聲音講話的時候，上帝的靈進入我裡面，把我扶起來。我聽見這聲音繼續對我說：

「必朽的人哪，我要派你到 以色列 人那裡去。他們跟祖先一樣背叛我，離棄我，到現在仍然叛離我。
4
他們頑固剛硬，不尊重我，所以我要派你去，把我—至高上主要告訴他們的話轉告他們。
5
不管那些叛逆的人聽不聽，他們應該知道曾經有一位先知在他們中間。
6
「但是，必朽的人哪，你不要怕他們，也不要怕他們說的話。他們會反抗你，瞧不起你；你就像處身在蠍子中間。但是你不必因那些叛逆的人驚惶，也不要怕他們說的話。
7
不管他們聽不聽，你要把我的話都轉告他們。要記得他們是一群叛逆的人。
8
「必朽的人哪，你要留心聽我告訴你的話；不可像他們一樣叛逆。你要開口，把我要給你的東西吃下去。」
9
於是我看見一隻手向我伸過來，手上拿著一軸書卷。
10
他打開書卷；我看見書卷的正反面都寫著字，上面所寫的是哀悼、歎息，和悲痛的話。
