那人帶我到朝東的門。

我看見 以色列 上帝的榮耀從東方來。他的聲音像海浪澎湃；大地因他的榮耀而發出耀眼的光輝。

這個異象跟從前我所看見上帝摧毀 耶路撒冷 的異象和我在 迦巴魯河 邊所看見的異象一樣。於是我俯伏在地上。
4
上主的榮耀通過東門進入聖殿。
5
上主的靈把我提起來，領我到內院。在那裡，我看見聖殿充滿了上主的榮耀。
6
那人站在我旁邊；我聽見上主從聖殿裡對我說話。
7
他說：「必朽的人哪，這地方是我的寶座；我要住在 以色列 人中間，永遠統治他們。 以色列 人和他們的君王都不會再拜偶像或為已死的君王立碑而侮辱我的聖名。
8
他們王宮的玄關和門柱緊靠著我聖殿的前堂和門柱，我們之間只隔一道牆。他們曾以可惡的行為侮辱我，所以我在烈怒下把他們消滅了。
9
現在他們必須停止拜偶像，拆掉他們為先王所立的碑，這樣，我就永遠住在他們中間。
10
「必朽的人哪，你要把聖殿的設計告訴 以色列 人，讓他們研究。要使他們為自己的罪惡感到羞恥。
11
如果他們覺得自己的行為可恥，你就向他們說明這聖殿的設計：包括聖殿的圖樣、出入口、外形、內部的布置，和所有的條例規則。你要把這一切寫下來，讓他們知道該怎樣布置，並且按照條例規則執行。
12
聖殿的規定是這樣：聖殿要建立在山上，殿的周圍都是聖地。」

祭壇的大小如下：量祭壇用的尺寸跟量聖殿的一樣。祭壇的座四周有槽，深五十公分，寬五十公分，外緣有二十五公分高的邊。
14
祭壇的底層從槽底算起有一公尺高；中層從底層的外緣向裡縮進五十公分，有兩公尺高。上層也從中層外緣向裡縮進五十公分。
15
上層，就是燒牲祭的供臺，也是兩公尺高，四邊的角各有凸出的角。
16
祭壇的上層是四方的，每邊長六公尺。
17
中層也是四方的，每邊長七公尺，外緣有邊，高二十五公分。槽寬五十公分。上祭壇的臺階在東面。
18
至高的上主對我說：「必朽的人哪，要留心聽！下面是有關奉獻祭壇的條例。祭壇造好以後，你要在祭壇上獻燒化祭，灑祭牲的血，把它奉獻給我。
19
只有 利未 支族、 撒督 後代的祭司可以到我面前事奉我。這是我—至高上主的命令。你要給他們一頭小公牛作贖罪祭。
20
你要用這祭牲的血抹在上層凸出的那四個角、中層的四個角，和它的外緣。你要這樣潔淨祭壇，把它分別為聖。
21
你要把贖罪祭的小公牛帶到聖殿外面，在指定的地方焚燒。
22
第二天你要用沒有殘缺的公山羊作贖罪祭。你要用羊的血潔淨祭壇，像用小公牛的血潔淨祭壇一樣。
23
祭壇潔淨以後，你要帶一頭沒有殘缺的小公牛和公綿羊
24
到我面前。祭司要撒鹽在牠們身上，把牠們當燒化祭獻給我。
25
七日之久，你要每天獻一頭小公牛、公山羊、公綿羊作贖罪祭。這些牲畜一定要沒有殘缺的。
26
七日之久，祭司要潔淨祭壇，把它分別為聖。
27
第八天起，祭司要在祭壇上為人民獻燒化祭和平安祭。這樣，我就接納你們。我—至高的上主這樣宣布了。」
