"Wie hilffst du doch yn n Schwachn weiter!? Dös wenn ayn Hilf sein sollt, mir gängst!

Und d Weisheit haast mit n Löffl gfrössn. Daa ist s y klaar, däß gnueg non bleibt!

I fraag mi grad, wasst daa von mir mechst. Ganz neu klingt dös allss übrigns nit!

Ys Toodsreich bibnt ganz zweitigst druntn;

und off ligt daa vor iem dyr Schlund.

Wo haat dyr Herr önn Himml aufghöngt? Wie laasst yr d Erdn schwöbn in n Raum?

Er sammlt s Wasser in de Wolkenn, und zamtdönn reissnd s unt nit auf.

Seinn Troon bedöckt yr mit de Wolkenn; daa mueß nit ieder einhinschaugn.

Er stöckt de Kimm ab auf n Wasser; herent ist s liecht non, dunkl ent.

De Berg wenn gronend, naacherd waisst ys, däß iewign öbbs von n Herrgot droot.

Ain Wort von iem, und s Mör werd ruebig; dyr Mördrack haat bei iem kain Müg.

Er braucht blooß blaasn, schoon werd s haiter; wenn s Mör tobt, sait yr ainfach: "Aus!"

Ietz ist dös aber grad dyr Anfang; was kriegnd denn mir von iem gar mit? Doch auf geet s, wenn dyr Herrgot looslögt; dös ist öbbs Anderts, s ist myr klaar!"
