¡Alabemos a nuestro Dios! Muy agradable en verdad es cantarle himnos a nuestro Dios; muy grato y justo es cantarle alabanzas.

Dios ha reconstruido la ciudad de Jerusalén. Dios hizo volver a los israelitas que los babilonios se llevaron prisioneros.
3
Dios sanó las heridas de los que habían perdido toda esperanza.
4
Dios es quien decide cuántas estrellas debe haber, y a todas las conoce.
5
Grande es nuestro Dios, y grande es su poder; ¡su entendimiento no tiene fin!
6
Dios levanta a los humildes, pero humilla a los malvados.
7
Cantemos al son del arpa himnos de gratitud a nuestro Dios.
8
Dios cubre de nubes el cielo. Dios hace llover sobre la tierra. Dios hace que la hierba crezca sobre los cerros.

Dios alimenta a los animales salvajes y a los polluelos de los cuervos, cuando le piden de comer.
10
Para Dios, lo que cuenta no es la fuerza del caballo, ni la fuerza del hombre;

para él, lo que cuenta es que la gente lo obedezca y confíe en su amor.
12
Jerusalén, ¡alaba a tu Dios!

Dios es quien refuerza los cerrojos de tus portones. Dios es quien bendice a todos tus habitantes.
14
Dios te hace vivir en paz y te da comida en abundancia.
15
Dios da órdenes a la tierra, y sus órdenes se cumplen enseguida.
16
Dios deja caer sobre la tierra la nieve y la llovizna.
17
Dios deja caer granizo como si fueran pedazos de piedra. ¡El frío que envía nadie lo resiste!
18
Pero Dios da una orden y el hielo se derrite; ¡hace que el viento sople, y el agua vuelve a correr!
19
Dios dio a conocer a Israel sus mandamientos y enseñanzas.
20
A ninguna otra nación le dio a conocer su palabra. ¡Alabemos a nuestro Dios!
