kas lolo savā sirdī ļaunu un ceļ ik dienas karu.

Viņi trin savu mēli kā čūskas, odžu inde un dzelonis ir zem viņu lūpām. (Sela.)

Pasargi mani, Kungs, no bezdievju rokām, izglāb mani no varas darbu darītājiem, kas domā sajaukt manus soļus!

Nekautrīgie izliek man cilpas un valgus, viņi izstiepj tīklu gar ceļa malu un izliek man slazdus. (Sela.)
