Pasargi, ak, Kungs, manu muti un sargi manas lūpas!

Neļauj manai sirdij griezties uz ļaunu, ka es nedaru grēcīgus darbus kopā ar ļaundariem. No viņu saldumiem es negribu neko baudīt.

Lai taisnais mani sit, tā būs mīlestība, un lai viņš mani pārmāca, tā būs eļļa uz galvas, tam lai mana galva neliedzas. Tomēr es vienmēr lūdzu, lai viņi man nenodara ko ļaunu.

Bet viņu tiesneši un vadoņi lai top nogāzti no klints sienas, tad ļaudis klausīsies uz maniem vārdiem, un tie ļaudīm liksies mīlīgi.

Kā arājs uzplēš zemi un saar to vienās bedrēs, tā ir izkaisīti mūsu kauli pa kapu dziļumiem līdz pašai pazemei.
