Saulei Viņš darinājis telti, tā līdzīga līgavainim, kas iziet no savām telpām, tā priecājas kā varonis, lai dotos nospraustajā ceļā.

Vienā debesmalā tā sāk savu gaitu, apkārt līdz tai pašai malai tā to nostaigā, un nekas nepaliek apslēpts no tās svelmes.

Tā Kunga likumi ir pilnīgi un atspirdzina dvēseli. Tā Kunga liecība ir patiesa un vientiesīgos dara gudrus.

Tā Kunga pavēles ir taisnas, tās dara sirdi priecīgu, Tā Kunga bauslis ir skaidrs, tas apskaidro acis.

Bijība Tā Kunga priekšā ir šķīsta, tā pastāv mūžīgi. Tā Kunga tiesas spriedumi ir patiesība, tie visi ir taisni;

tie ir jaukāki nekā zelts, nekā kausēts zelts, tie saldāki nekā medus, kā vistīrākais tecinātais medus no šūnām.

Arī Tavs kalps no tiem gūst pamācību, jo, kas tos ievēro, tam jau ar to vien ir liela alga.

Kas gan apzinās savu nomaldīšanos? Šķīstī mani no manām neapzinātām kļūdām!
