Dāvida psalms. Klausi, ak, Kungs, manu lūgšanu, ņem vērā manas sirds lūgšanas balsi pēc Savas patiesības un uzklausi mani pēc Savas taisnības!

Un neej tiesā ar Savu kalpu, jo Tavā priekšā nav neviena taisna dzīvajo vidū.

Ienaidnieks vajā manu dvēseli, viņš notriec manu dzīvību pie zemes, viņš grūž mani tumsā kā jau sen nomirušos.

Izmisis ir mans gars, un satraukta krūtīs ir mana sirds.

Es pieminu senos laikus, es atceros visu Tavu darbu un pārdomāju visu, ko Tava roka darījusi.

Es paceļu savas rokas pret Tevi, mana dvēsele tvīkst pēc Tevis kā izslāpusi zeme. (Sela.)

Steidzies, Kungs, un paklausi mani, mans gars krīt izmisumā! Neapslēp Savu vaigu no manis, lai netopu kā tie, kas nogrimst kapa bedrē.

Liec man piedzīvot Tavu žēlastību jau no paša rīta, jo es paļaujos uz Tevi! Rādi man to ceļu, pa kuru man jāiet, jo es paceļu savu dvēseli uz Tevi!

Izglāb mani, Kungs, no maniem ienaidniekiem, es turos pie Tevis!

Māci man darīt pēc Tava prāta, jo Tu esi mans Dievs, Tavs labais Gars lai vada mani pa taisnu ceļu!

Tava Vārda dēļ, ak, Kungs, uzturi mani pie dzīvības, izved manu dvēseli no bēdām Savas taisnības dēļ!

Un iznīcini pēc Savas žēlastības manus ienaidniekus un izdeldē visus, kas apbēdina manu dvēseli, jo es esmu Tavs kalps!
