Och geweldenaar, waarom denkt u dat het kwade u wel zal helpen? De liefde en goedheid van God houden nooit op en gelden dag en nacht.

U bedenkt allerlei kwaad; uw tong is zo scherp als een scheermes. U bent een bedrieger!

U geeft de voorkeur aan het kwaad boven het goede. U liegt liever dan dat u de waarheid spreekt.

U hoort het liefst slechte taal en een mond die bedriegt.

God zal u echter voor eeuwig verderven. Hij zal u uit uw huis wegslepen en een einde aan uw leven maken.

De oprechte mensen die het zien, zullen ontzag voor God hebben en zeggen:

Kijk, zo vergaat het de mensen die niet op God vertrouwen, maar denken dat hun rijkdom hen wel zal redden. Die rijkdom waardoor hij zich sterk waande, werd zijn ondergang.

Ik groei echter op als een altijd groene olijfboom in Gods huis. Onophoudelijk vertrouw ik op Gods goedheid en liefdevolle zorg.

Ik zal U altijd loven en prijzen, omdat U mij steeds weer redt. Ik verwacht het alleen van U, samen met al Uw volgelingen, want Uw naam is groot en goed.
