Doamne, eu Te chem; vino degrabă la mine! Ia aminte la glasul meu când Te chem!

Ca tămâia să fie rugăciunea mea înaintea Ta și ca jertfa de seară să fie ridicarea mâinilor mele!
3
Pune, Doamne, o strajă înaintea gurii mele și păzește ușa buzelor mele!
4
Nu-mi abate inima la lucruri rele, la fapte vinovate împreună cu oamenii care fac răul, și să nu mănânc din ospețele lor!
5
Lovească-mă cel neprihănit, căci lovirea lui îmi este binevenită; pedepsească-mă, căci pedeapsa lui este ca untdelemnul turnat pe capul meu! Să nu-mi întorc capul de la ea, dar rugăciunea mea se va înălța întruna împotriva răutății lor.
6
Când li se vor prăvăli judecătorii de-a lungul stâncilor, atunci vor asculta cuvintele mele și vor vedea că sunt plăcute.
7
Cum se brăzdează și se spintecă pământul, așa ni se risipesc oasele la gura mormântului.
8
De aceea către Tine, Doamne Dumnezeule, îmi îndrept ochii, la Tine caut adăpost; nu-mi părăsi sufletul!
9
Păzește-mă de cursa pe care mi-o întind ei și de piedicile celor ce fac răul!
10
Să cadă cei răi în lațurile lor, în timp ce eu să scap!
