Lăudați-L pe Domnul, căci este frumos să-L lăudăm pe Dumnezeul nostru, căci este plăcut și se cuvine să-L lăudăm!
2
Domnul zidește iarăși Ierusalimul, îi strânge pe surghiuniții lui Israel,
3
îi tămăduiește pe cei cu inima zdrobită și le leagă rănile.
4
El socotește numărul stelelor și le dă nume la toate.
5
Mare este Domnul nostru și puternic prin tăria Lui; priceperea Lui este fără margini.
6
Domnul îi sprijină pe cei nenorociți și îi doboară pe cei răi la pământ.
7
Cântați-I Domnului cu mulțumiri, lăudați-L pe Dumnezeul nostru cu harfa!
8
El acoperă cerul cu nori, pregătește ploaia pentru pământ și face să răsară iarba pe munți.
9
El le dă hrană vitelor și puilor corbului când strigă.
10
Nu de puterea calului Se bucură El, nu-Și găsește plăcerea în picioarele omului.
11
Domnul îi iubește pe cei ce se tem de El, pe cei ce nădăjduiesc în bunătatea Lui.
12
Laudă-L pe Domnul, Ierusalime, laudă-L pe Dumnezeul tău, Sioane!
13
Căci El întărește zăvoarele porților, El îi binecuvântează pe fiii tăi în mijlocul tău;
14
El dă pace ținutului tău și te satură cu cel mai bun grâu.
15
El Își trimite poruncile pe pământ, cuvântul Lui aleargă cu iuțeală mare.
16
El dă zăpada ca lâna, El presară bruma albă ca cenușa.
17
El Își azvârle gheața în bucăți: cine poate sta înaintea frigului Său?
18
El Își trimite cuvântul Său și le topește; pune să sufle vântul Lui, și apele curg.
19
El îi descoperă lui Iacov Cuvântul Său, lui Israel – legile și poruncile Sale.
20
El n-a lucrat așa cu toate neamurile și ele nu cunosc poruncile Lui. Lăudați-L pe Domnul!
