Nikiketi au nikisimama, wewe wajua; wajua kutoka mbali kila kitu ninachofikiria.

Watambua nikienda au nikipumzika; wewe wazijua shughuli zangu zote.
4
Kabla sijasema neno lolote, wewe, ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, walijua kabisa.
5
Uko kila upande wangu, mbele na nyuma; waniwekea mkono wako kunilinda.
6
Maarifa yako yapita akili yangu; ni makuu mno, siwezi kuyaelewa.
7
Nikimbilie wapi ambako roho yako haiko? Niende wapi ambako wewe huko?
8
Nikipanda juu mbinguni, wewe upo; nikijilaza chini kuzimu, wewe upo.
9
Nikiruka hadi mawio ya jua, au hata mipakani mwa bahari,
10
hata huko upo kuniongoza; mkono wako wa kulia utanitegemeza.
11
Kama ningeliomba giza linifunike, giza linizunguke badala ya mwanga,
12
kwako giza si giza hata kidogo, na usiku wangaa kama mchana; kwako giza na mwanga ni mamoja.
13
Wewe umeniumba, mwili wangu wote; ulinitengeneza tumboni mwa mama yangu.
14
Nakusifu maana nimefanywa kwa namna ya ajabu, matendo yako ni ya ajabu; wewe wanijua kabisakabisa.
15
Umbo langu halikufichika kwako nilipotungwa kwa siri na ustadi ndani ya dunia.
16
Wewe uliniona hata kabla sijazaliwa, uliandika kila kitu kitabuni mwako; siku zangu zote ulizipanga, hata kabla ya kuweko ile ya kwanza.
17
Ee Mungu, mawazo yako ni makuu mno; hayawezi kabisa kuhesabika.
18
Ningeyahesabu yangekuwa mengi kuliko mchanga. Niamkapo, bado nipo pamoja nawe.
19
Laiti, ee Mungu, ungewaua watu waovu! Laiti watu wauaji wangeondoka kwangu!
20
Wanasema vibaya juu yako; wanasema maovu juu ya jina lako!
21
Ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, nawachukia wanaokuchukia; nawadharau sana wale wanaokuasi!
22
Maadui zako ni maadui zangu; ninawachukia kabisakabisa.
23
Unichunguze, ee Mungu, unijue moyo wangu, unipime, uyajue mawazo yangu.
24
Uangalie kama mwenendo wangu ni mbaya, uniongoze katika njia ya milele.
