Ni vyema kumshukuru Mwenyezi Mungu na kuliimbia jina lako, Ee Uliye Juu Sana,
2
kuutangaza upendo wako asubuhi, na uaminifu wako wakati wa usiku,
3
kwa zeze yenye nyuzi kumi na kwa sauti ya kinubi.
4
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, kwa kuwa matendo yako yamenifurahisha, nitaziimba kwa shangwe kazi za mikono yako.
5
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, tazama jinsi yalivyo makuu matendo yako, tazama jinsi yalivyo ya kina mawazo yako!
6
Mjinga hafahamu, mpumbavu haelewi,
7
ingawa waovu huchipua kama majani na wote watendao maovu wanastawi, wataangamizwa milele.
8
Bali wewe, Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, utatukuzwa milele.
9
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika adui zako, hakika adui zako wataangamia. Wote watendao maovu watatawanyika.
10
Umeitukuza pembe yangu kama ile ya nyati dume, mafuta mazuri yamemiminwa juu yangu.
11
Macho yangu yamewaona adui zangu wakishindwa, masikio yangu yamesikia maangamizi ya adui zangu waovu.
12
Wenye haki watastawi kama mtende, watakuwa kama mwerezi wa Lebanoni,
13
waliopandwa katika nyumba ya Mwenyezi Mungu, watastawi katika nyua za Mungu wetu.
14
Wakati wa uzee watakuwa bado wanazaa matunda, watakuwa wabichi tena wamejaa nguvu,
15
wakitangaza, “Mwenyezi Mungu ni mkamilifu; yeye ni Mwamba wangu, na ndani yake hamna uovu.”
