Kom prys die Here! Ek wil vir die Here dankie sê met alles wat ek het. In die gemeente, by eredienste, in klein groepe, by bidure, ja, by enige byeenkoms van sy kinders wil ek Hom prys.

Die Here doen baie groot dinge, dit laat jou so klein voel. Elkeen wat opgewonde is oor wat Hy doen, sal aanmekaar daarvan praat en dink.

Wat die Here doen, is te groot om te verstaan; dit is te wonderlik om te beskryf. Hy doen altyd net die regte dinge.

Die Here sorg dat mense die wonderlike dinge onthou wat Hy doen. Hy het ’n goeie hart. Hy gee graag vir ons goeie dinge. Hy voel gou jammer vir iemand.

Hy sorg vir mense wat Hom dien deur vir hulle kos te gee. Hy doen altyd wat Hy beloof het in sy ooreenkoms met ons.

Hy het vir sy volk Israel ’n land beloof waar vreemde volke gebly het. Toe laat Hy hulle die land met sy krag inneem. Israel het geleer dat God sy beloftes altyd nakom.

Die Here is getrou. Hy tree reg op. Alles wat Hy doen, getuig daarvan. Alles wat Hy sê, kan ’n mens maar glo.

Sy woorde staan vas. Jy weet waar jy met Hom staan. Hy is getrou en loop nie draaie met jou nie.

Die Here help sy kinders as hulle hulp nodig het. Hy red hulle uit die moeilikheid. Hy het ’n belofte aan hulle gemaak wat altyd sal bly staan. Vir God moet jy groot respek hê. Jy kan nie sy Naam los en vas gebruik nie.
10
Om gelukkig te wees moet jy die Here dien. Dit is die goue reël van die lewe. As jy dit doen, verstaan jy die geheim van die lewe. Die Here verdien al die dankies wat mense Hom kan gee.
