Die Here regeer! Sy skepping moet oorloop van blydskap. Van hier tot in die laaste hoekie van die wêreld moet hierdie blydskap weerklink.

Waar die Here is, is daar nie plek vir oneerlikheid nie. Wat Hy doen, is altyd reg en goed.

Soos ’n vuur wat ’n veld tot as verbrand, vernietig Hy elkeen wat Hom probeer teëgaan.
4
As sy weerlig slaan, staan die aarde in verwondering en vrees in die helder lig.
5
As die Here, wat oor hierdie wêreld heers, verskyn, smelt berge weg soos botter in die warm son.

Uit die hemel kom die boodskap dat wat die Here doen, reg is, en dat almal en alles sal sien hoe groot en belangrik Hy is.
7
Die mense wat afgode aanbid, sal hulle kop in skaamte moet laat sak. Elkeen wat ’n afgod sy god maak, sal met ’n rooi gesig staan. Al hierdie gode sal voor die Here neerval, want Hy is die Here wat oor alles heers.

Elkeen wat aan die Here behoort, juig uitbundig oor die goeie nuus dat U in hierdie wêreld laat gebeur wat reg is, o Here.

Niemand is groter as U nie. Geen afgod kan u plek vat nie.
10
As jy vir die Here lief is, hardloop dan weg van alles waarvan Hy nie hou nie. Hy sal jou oppas en beskerm teen enigiemand wat jou wil seermaak.
11
As jy Hom gelukkig maak, sal sy geluk jou soos lig omvou. As jy aan Hom behoort, sal jou hart van vreugde oorloop.
12
Laat God se kinders van geluk oorloop omdat hulle aan die Here behoort. Prys en dank die Here vir wie Hy is.
