Deued fy ngweddi ger dy fron: gostwng dy glust at fy llefain.

Canys fy enaid a lanwyd o flinderau; a'm heinioes a nesâ i'r beddrod.

Cyfrifwyd fi gyda'r rhai a ddisgynnant i'r pwll: ydwyf fel gŵr heb nerth.
5
Yn rhydd ymysg y meirw, fel rhai wedi eu lladd, yn gorwedd mewn bedd, y rhai ni chofi mwy; a hwy a dorrwyd oddi wrth dy law.

Gosodaist fi yn y pwll isaf, mewn tywyllwch, yn y dyfnderau.
7
Y mae dy ddigofaint yn pwyso arnaf: ac â'th holl donnau y'm cystuddiaist. Sela.

Pellheaist fy nghydnabod oddi wrthyf; gwnaethost fi yn ffieidd‐dra iddynt: gwarchaewyd fi, fel nad awn allan.

Fy llygad a ofidiodd gan fy nghystudd: llefais arnat ARGLWYDD, beunydd; estynnais fy nwylo atat.

Ai i'r meirw y gwnei ryfeddod? a gyfyd y meirw a'th foliannu di? Sela.

A draethir dy drugaredd mewn bedd? a'th wirionedd yn nistryw?
12
A adwaenir dy ryfeddod yn y tywyllwch? a'th gyfiawnder yn nhir angof?
13
Ond myfi a lefais arnat, ARGLWYDD; yn fore yr achub fy ngweddi dy flaen.
14
Paham, ARGLWYDD, y gwrthodi fy enaid? y cuddi dy wyneb oddi wrthyf?
15
Truan ydwyf fi, ac ar drancedigaeth o'm hieuenctid: dygais dy ofn, ac yr ydwyf yn petruso.
16
Dy soriant a aeth drosof; dy ddychrynedigaethau a'm torrodd ymaith.
17
Fel dwfr y'm cylchynasant beunydd, ac y'm cydamgylchasant.
18
Câr a chyfaill a yrraist ymhell oddi wrthyf, a'm cydnabod i dywyllwch.
