1 I Ddafydd.0 Bendigedig yw yr ARGLWYDD, fy nghraig; ef sy'n dysgu i'm dwylo ymladd, ac i'm bysedd ryfela;
2
fy nghr a'm cadernid, fy nghaer a'm gwaredydd, fy nharian a'm lloches, sy'n darostwng pobloedd odanaf.
3
O ARGLWYDD, beth yw meidrolyn, i ti ofalu amdano, a'r teulu dynol, i ti ei ystyried?
4
Y mae'r meidrol yn union fel anadl, a'i ddyddiau fel cysgod yn mynd heibio.
5
ARGLWYDD, agor y nefoedd a thyrd i lawr, cyffwrdd 'r mynyddoedd nes eu bod yn mygu;
6
saetha allan fellt nes eu gwasgaru, anfon dy saethau nes peri iddynt arswydo.
7
Estyn allan dy law o'r uchelder, i'm hachub ac i'm gwaredu o ddyfroedd lawer, ac o law estroniaid
8
sy'n dweud celwydd 'u genau, a'u deheulaw'n llawn ffalster.
9
Canaf gn newydd i ti, O Dduw, canaf gyda'r offeryn dectant i ti,
10
ti sy'n rhoi gwaredigaeth i frenhinoedd, ac yn achub Dafydd ei was.
11
Achub fi oddi wrth y cleddyf creulon; gwared fi o law estroniaid, sy'n dweud celwydd 'u genau, a'u deheulaw'n llawn ffalster.
12
Bydded ein meibion fel planhigion yn tyfu'n gryf yn eu hieuenctid, a'n merched fel pileri cerfiedig mewn adeiladwaith palas.
13
Bydded ein hysguboriau yn llawn o luniaeth o bob math; bydded ein defaid yn filoedd ac yn fyrddiynau yn ein meysydd;
14
bydded ein gwartheg yn drymion, heb anap nac erthyliad; ac na fydded gwaedd ar ein strydoedd.
15
Gwyn eu byd y bobl sydd fel hyn. Gwyn eu byd y bobl y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn Dduw iddynt.
