Ar son Shíon ní bhiáidh mé am thochd, agus ar ghrádh Iérusalem ní choisgfe mé, nó go ndeachuidh a bhfíreantachd amach amhuil déalrughadh, agus a slánughadh amhuil tóirse air lasadh.

Agus do chifid na geinte hionnracus, agus na huile ríghthe do ghlóir: agus goirfighear thú maille re hainm núadh, noch ainmneóchus béul an TIGHEARNA.

Biáidh tú fós ad choróin ghlóire a láimh an TIGHEARNA, agus ad dhiadem ríoghamhuil a láimh do Dhé.

Ní goirfighear dhíot ní sa mhó Tréigthe; agus ní déarthar do dhúthaigh ní is mó Uáigneach: acht goirfighear Haphsi‐bah dhíot, agus dot dhúthaigh Beulah: óir dúilighidh an TIGHEARNA ionnad, agus pósfuighear do dhúthaigh.

Oir amhuil phósas ógánach maighdion, is marsin phósuid do mhic thusa: agus mar gháirdigheas an fear núadhphosta ós a mhnaói núadphósta, marsin gháirdigheas do Dhía ós do chionnsa.

¶ Do chuir mé foraire air do bhalladhuibh, a Ierusalem, nach ccoisgfidh a lá nó a noidhche: ná bíthise bhur ttochd, a dhrong tig thar an TTIGHEARNA,

Agus ná léigidh suáimhneas dó, nó go ndaingnidh sé; agus go ndéarna sé Ierusalem na mholadh annsa talamh.

¶ Do mhionnuigh an TIGHEARNA fa na láimh dheis, agus le rúigh a neirt, Go dearbhtha ní thiubhra mé ní as mó tharbharsa do bheith na bhíadh dot naimhdibh; agus ní iobhuid mic na ccoimhthidheach thfion ar son ar sháothruigh tú.

Acht asíad an lucht do chruinnigh é íosas é, agus molfuid an TIGHEARNA; agus iobhuid an drong thug a gcionn a chéile é a ccúirtibh mo náomhthachdasa.

¶ Eirgidh thríd, éirgidh thríd na geatadhuibh; ullmhuighidh slighe an phobail; teilgid súas, teilgidh súas an tslighe mhór; cruinnighidh amach na clocha; tógbhuidh súas bratach don phobal.
