Szeretem az URat, mert meghallgatja esedezéseim szavát.

Mivel felém fordította fülét, őt hívom segítségül egész életemben.

Körülvettek a halál kötelei, és a Seol szorongattatása támadt rám, nyomorúságba és ínségbe jutottam.

És az ÚR nevét hívtam segítségül: Kérlek, URam, szabadítsd meg lelkemet!
5
Kegyelmes és igazságos az ÚR, irgalmas a mi Istenünk.
6
Megőrzi az ÚR az együgyűeket; elesett voltam, és megszabadított engem.
7
Lelkem, nyugodj meg újra, mert az ÚR jót tett veled!
8
Mert megszabadítottad lelkemet a haláltól, szememet a könnyhullatástól és lábamat az eleséstől,
9
az ÚR arca előtt fogok járni az élők földén.
10
Hittem, azért szóltam; noha igen megalázott vagyok.
11
Csüggedésemben ezt mondtam: Minden ember hazug.
12
Mivel fizessek az ÚRnak minden hozzám való jótéteményéért?
13
Fölemelem a szabadulásért való poharat, és az ÚR nevét hívom segítségül.
14
Az ÚRnak tett fogadalmaimat megadom egész népe előtt.
15
Az ÚR szeme előtt drága kegyeseinek halála.
16
Ó, URam, én a te szolgád vagyok, szolgálólányod fia: te oldoztad ki köteleimet.
17
Neked áldozom hálaáldozattal, és az ÚR nevét hívom segítségül.
18
Az ÚRnak tett fogadalmaimat megadom egész népe előtt,
19
az ÚR házának udvaraiban, tebenned, Jeruzsálem! Dicsérjétek az URat!
