(3) Hirdetni jó reggel kegyelmedet és hűségedet éjjelente

(4) tízhúrú hangszerrel és lanttal, hárfazengéssel.

(5) Mert megvidámítottál cselekedeteddel, URam, kezed műveiben örvendezem.

(6) Mily nagyok az alkotásaid, URam, igen mélységesek a gondolataid!

(7) A balga ember nem ismeri és a bolond nem érti meg ezt.

(8) Ha úgy sarjadnak is a gonoszok, mint a fű, és az álnokságot cselekvők mind virágoznak, végül mégis elpusztulnak.

(9) De te, URam, magasságos vagy örökké!

(10) Mert íme, ellenségeid, URam, ellenségeid elvesznek, és elszélednek mind a gonosztevők!

(11) De az én szarvamat erőssé teszed, mint a bivalyét; friss olajjal öntözöl meg.

(12) Szememet ellenségeimen legeltetem, fülem az ellenem támadó gonosztevőkön mulat.

(13) Az igaz virágzik, mint a pálmafa, növekszik, mint a cédrus a Libánonon.

(14) Az ÚR házában vannak elültetve, Istenünk udvaraiban virulnak.

(15) Még vén korukban is teremnek, dúsak lesznek, és zöldellni fognak.

(16) Hirdetik, hogy igazságos az ÚR, az én kősziklám, és nincs benne hamisság!
