(7) Megemlékezem éjjel az énekeimről; szívemben elgondolkodom, és azt kutatja lelkem:

(8) vajon örökre elvet-e az Úr, és nem lesz többé jóakarattal?

(9) Vajon végképp elfogyott kegyelme? Semmivé lesz nemzedékről nemzedékre szálló ígérete?

(10) Vajon elfelejtett könyörületes lenni Isten? Vagy haragja feltartóztatja irgalmát? [Szela]

(11) Azt gondoltam: Az az én bajom, hogy a Fölséges jobbja megváltozott.

(12) Megemlékezem az ÚR cselekedeteiről, sőt megemlékezem hajdani csodáidról.

(13) Elmélkedem minden cselekedetedről, és tetteidről gondolkozom.

(14) Istenem, szent a te utad, ki olyan nagy Isten, mint a mi Istenünk?

(15) Te vagy az Isten, aki csodát művelsz, megmutattad hatalmadat a népek között.

(16) Karoddal megváltottad népedet, Jákób és József fiait. [Szela]

(17) Láttak téged a vizek, Istenem, láttak téged a vizek, és megfélemlettek, a mélységek is megrázkódtak.

(18) A felhők vizet ontottak, megzendültek a felhők, nyilaid is cikáztak.

(19) Mennydörgésed zúgott a forgószélben, villámaid megvilágosították a mindenséget, megrázkódott és megindult a föld.

(20) Utad a tengeren át vezet, ösvényeid a nagy vizeken, és nem látszik lépteid nyoma.

(21) Mint nyájat, úgy vezetted népedet Mózes és Áron kezével.
