Hallelúja. Gott er að syngja Guði vorum lof. Það er yndislegt, honum hæfir lofsöngur.

Drottinn endurreisir Jerúsalem, safnar saman hinum tvístruðu Ísraels.
3
Hann græðir þá sem hafa sundurkramið hjarta og bindur um benjar þeirra.
4
Hann ákveður tölu stjarnanna, nefnir þær allar með nafni.
5
Mikill er Drottinn vor og voldugur í mætti sínum, speki hans ómælanleg.
6
Drottinn styður hjálparlausa en óguðlega fellir hann til jarðar.
7
Syngið Drottni þakkargjörð, leikið fyrir Guði vorum á gígju.
8
Hann hylur himininn skýjum, sér jörðinni fyrir regni, lætur gras spretta á fjöllunum,
9
gefur skepnunum fóður þeirra, hrafnsungunum þegar þeir krunka.
10
Hann hefur ekki mætur á styrk hestsins, hrífst ekki af fráum fótum mannsins.
11
Drottinn hefur þóknun á þeim sem óttast hann, þeim sem setja von sína á miskunn hans.
12
Lofa Drottin, Jerúsalem, tigna þú Guð þinn, Síon,
13
því að hann hefur gert sterka slagbrandana fyrir hliðum þínum, blessað börn þín sem í þér eru.
14
Hann stillir til friðar við landamæri þín, seður þig á úrvalshveiti.
15
Hann sendir boðskap sinn um jörðina, skjótt berst orð hans.
16
Hann gefur snjó eins og ull, stráir hrími sem ösku.
17
Hann stráir hagli sínu eins og brauðmylsnu, hver fær staðist frost hans?
18
Hann sendir út orð sitt og lætur ísinn þiðna, lætur vind sinn blása og vötnin renna.
19
Hann boðar Jakobi orð sitt, Ísrael lög sín og ákvæði.
20
Slíkt hefur hann ekki gert fyrir neina aðra þjóð, þær þekkja ekki lög hans. Hallelúja.
