Kādēļ lai saka tautas: kur, kur tad ir viņu Dievs?! –

Jo mūsu Dievs ir debesīs, viņš dara visu, kas tam tīk!

Viņu elki ir sudrabs un zelts, cilvēku roku darināti,

mute tiem ir, bet tie nerunā, acis tiem ir, bet tie neredz,

ausis tiem ir, bet tie nedzird, nāsis tiem ir, bet tie nesaož,

rokas tiem ir, bet tie nesatausta, kājas tiem ir, bet tie nestaigā, pat ņurdēt nejaudā to rīkles!

Tādi paši to darinātāji un visi, kas uzticas tiem!

Israēl, uzticies Kungam! Palīgs un vairogs ir viņš!

Ārona nams, uzticies Kungam! Palīgs un vairogs ir viņš!

Kas bīstaties Kunga, uzticieties Kungam! Palīgs un vairogs ir viņš!

Kungs atceras mūs, viņš svētīs, viņš svētīs Israēla namu, viņš svētīs Ārona namu,

viņš svētīs visus, kas bīstas Kunga, – svētīs gan dižos, gan sīkos!

Lai Kungs vairo jūs, jūs un jūsu bērnu bērnus!
