Hør mitt rop om hjelp, min konge og min Gud, for jeg ber til deg.

HERRE, om morgenen hører du min stemme, tidlig bærer jeg fram mitt offer og venter.

Du er en Gud som ikke tåler urett. Ingen onde får bo hos deg.

Ingen hovmodige får tre fram for dine øyne. Du hater alle som gjør ondt,

du gjør ende på dem som taler løgn. HERREN avskyr drapsmenn og svikere.

Men ved din store godhet kan jeg gå inn i ditt hus. Jeg kaster meg ned i ærefrykt for deg, vendt mot ditt hellige tempel.

HERRE, led meg i din rettferd så fienden ikke når meg. Gjør veien din jevn for meg!

For det er ikke sannhet i deres munn, deres indre er fordervet. Strupen er en åpen grav, og tungen er glatt.

Gud, la dem bøte for sin skyld, la dem falle for sine egne planer! Driv dem bort og spre dem, syndene deres er mange. For de har trosset deg.

Men alle som søker tilflukt hos deg, skal glede seg, alltid skal de juble. Du verner dem. De fryder seg i deg, de som elsker ditt navn.

For du, HERRE, velsigner den rettferdige, du dekker ham med nåde som skjold.
