Haleluya! Dumisani ibizo lakaSomnini, mdumiseni nina nceku zakhe,

Dumisani uSomnini ngombana ulungile, nirhubele ibizo lakhe, ngombana lihle.

Mbala, uSomnini ukhethe uJakopo bona abe ngowakhe, iye, u-Israyeli abe lilifa elingelakhe.

Kwamambala ngiyazi bona uSomnini mkhulu; iye, iKosethu yikulu ngaphezu kwabo boke abosingazimu.

USomnini wenza koke akuthandako ezulwini nephasini, iye, emalwandle nekuzikeni koke.

Nguye okhuphula amafu amhlophe emikhawulweni yephasi; wenzela izulu imibani; nguye ovuthela ummoya eenlulwini zakhe.

Nguye owarhayila amazibulo wamaGibhide, iye, amazibulo wabantu nefuyo.

Wathumela iimbonakaliso nemikarisomraro phakathi kwakho, wena Gibhide, ngokujamelana noFaro neenceku zakhe zoke.

Nguye owamadlha izizwe ezinengi, wabulala amakhosi anamandla:

uSirhoni ikosi yama-Amori, u-Ogi ikosi yeBhatjhani namakhosi wemibuso yoke yeKanana.
12
Wanikela inarhawo kobana ibe lilifa, iye, ilifa labantu bakhe, u-Israyeli.
13
Somnini, ibizo lakho lijame isiphelani, isinanazelo sakho ngeseenzukulwana ngeenzukulwana,

ngombana uSomnini umela abantu bakhe, abe nesirhawu eencekwini zakhe.
