Somnini, Zimu Mninimandlawoke, kuzabe kube nini unevunda ngemithandazo yabantu bakho na?

Wabondla ngesikwa seenyembezi, wabaseza isiziba seenyembezi.

Wasenza isihlekiso sabomakhelwana bethu nezitha zethu ziyasikokomeja.

Zimu ongoPhezulu, sibuyise! Khanyisa ubuso bakho, khona sizakusindiswa.

Wakhupha isidiribe eGibhide, waqotjha izizwe wasitjala.

Wasilungisela indawaso, senabisa imirabhaso, sazala inarha.

Iintaba zembeswa mthunzaso nemisedari emikhulu mirarelaso;

sanabululela iingala zaso elwandle, amahlumelaso afika emilanjeni iYufrathe.

Kubayini wephule iimbiyelo zaso, kuthi okudlulako kukhe koke na?
14
Iwotji yehlathi iyasitlhifirija neenkhakhabi zommango ziyadla.

Awu, wena Zimu ongoPhezulu, yewubuyele kithi godu; usezulwini qala phasi ubone, unake isidiribesi,

iye, ilungu owalitjala ngesidla sakho.

Basitjhise ngomlilo isidiribeso, basiquntile basiwisela phasi. Kwanga bangabhubha ngokukhalima kobukhona bakho.
