Okhele indawakho ecwengileko ngomlilo, ayitjhisa ngokuyidula phasi; asilaphaza indawo lapha kuhlala ibizo lakho.

Adlumbana athi: “Asiqedeni koke!” Nje-ke atjhisa zoke iindawo zemihlangano kaZimu enarheni.

Amatshwaywethu asiwaboni; njengombana kungekho umphorofidi akakho kithi owaziko bona kuzabe kube nini kunjalo.

Zimu, umjamelani uzasiphoqa bekube nini? Isitha sizakuhlambalaza ibizo lakho isiphelani na?
11
Kubayini ugodla isandla sakho? Rhotjha isidla sakho usiqede!
12
Zimu, kwakade wena uyiKosami, wenza imisebenzi yokusindisa phakathi kwenarha.
13
Nguwe owaphehla ilwandle ngamandlakho, waphohloza iinhloko zeembandana ezikulu zemanzini.
14
Iye, nguwe owaphihliza iinhloko zakanomrhaso welwandle, wamenza bona abe kukudla kweendalwa zerhalawumba.
15
Nguwe owabhoboza imithombo nemilanjana, godu nguwe owomisa imilambo ehlala igeleza.
16
Ngeyakho imini, godu nobusuku ngebakho; nguwe owabeka inyezi nelanga.
17
Nguwe owajamisa yoke imikhawulo yephasi, iye, nguwe owenza ihlobo nobusika.
18
Khumbula lokhu, Zimu: Izitha ziphoqe wena, Somnini neendlhayela zihlambalaze ibizo lakho.
19
Unganikeli izuba lakho eembandaneni; iye, ipilo yabeyame kuwe, ungayikhohlwa nini nanini.
20
Khumbula isivumelwano ngombana iindawo ezimnyama enarheni, zigcwele ubudlova.
21
Ungajikisi ogandelelweko adanile! Yenza isichaka nodududu badumise ibizo lakho.
22
Sikima Zimu, jamela indabakho; khumbula, iindlhayela ziyakuphoqa imihla yoke.
23
Ungakhohlwa itjhada lamanabakho, iye, umkhosi wabajamelani bakho, ohlala ukukholile.
