Psalm Davidov. Slavi, duša moja, GOSPODA, in vse, kar je v meni, sveto ime njegovo!

Slavi, duša moja, GOSPODA in ne pozabi vseh dobrot njegovih!

Ki ti odpušča vse krivice tvoje, ki ozdravlja vse bolezni tvoje,

ki otimlje iz jame življenje tvoje, ki te venča z milostjo in usmiljenjem,
5
ki napolnjuje z vsem dobrim usta tvoja, da se kakor orlu ponavlja mladost tvoja.

Kar je pravično, dela GOSPOD in pravosodje vrši za vse zatirance.

Razodel je Mojzesu pota svoja, sinovom Izraelovim dela svoja.

Usmiljen in milostiv je GOSPOD, počasem v jezo in obilen v milosti.

Ne huduje se vekomaj in večno ne drži jeze.

Ne dela nam po grehih naših in ne povrača nam po krivicah naših.

Temuč kakor so visoko nebesa nad zemljo, tako močna je milost njegova nad njimi, ki se ga bojé.

Kakor daleč je vzhod od zahoda, tako daleč spravlja od nas prestopke naše.
