Av Salomo.Gud, ge åt kungen dina domar,din rättfärdighet åt kungasonen!

Han skall döma ditt folk med rättfärdighet,dina betryckta med rättvisa.

Bergen skall bära frid åt folket,höjderna rättfärdighet.
4
Han skall skaffa rätt åt de betryckta bland folket,han skall frälsa de fattigaoch krossa förtryckaren.
5
Dig skall man frukta från släkte till släkte,så länge solen finns till, så länge månen skiner.
6
Han skall vara lik regnet som faller på nyslagen äng,lik en regnskur som vattnar jorden.
7
I hans dagar skall den rättfärdige blomstra,stor frid skall råda tills månen ej längre finns.
8
Han skall härska från hav till havoch från floden intill jordens ändar.
9
Öknens inbyggare skall buga sig för honom,hans fiender skall slicka stoftet.
10
Kungar från Tarsis och kustländernaskall ge honom skatt,kungar från Saba och Sebaskall bära fram gåvor.
11
Alla kungar skall falla ner för honom,alla hednafolk tjäna honom.
12
Ty han skall rädda den fattige som roparoch den betryckte som ingen hjälpare har.
13
Han skall vara mild mot den svage och fattige,och frälsa de fattigas själar.
14
Från förtryck och våld skall han återlösa deras själ,deras blod är dyrbart i hans ögon.
15
Må han leva och få guld från Saba.Må man ständigt be för honom,dagligen välsigna honom.
16
Må säden växa rikligt i landet,ända upp till bergens topp.Må dess frukt vaja som Libanons skog,och folket i städerna blomstra som örter på marken.
17
Må hans namn förbli för evigt,så länge solen skiner må hans namn leva vidare.I honom skall man välsigna sig,alla hednafolk skall prisa honom salig.

Lovad vare Herren Gud, Israels Gud,som ensam gör under!

Lovat vare hans härliga namn för evigt,hela jorden vare full av hans ära!Amen, amen.
