En psalm, en sång för sabbats- dagen.

Det är gott att tacka Herrenoch att lovsjunga ditt namn, du den Högste,
3
att om morgonen förkunna din nådoch om natten din trofasthet
4
med tiosträngat instrument och psaltare,med spel på harpa.
5
Ty du gläder mig, Herre, med dina gärningar,jag vill jubla över dina händers verk.
6
Hur stora är inte dina verk, Herre!Hur djupa är inte dina tankar.
7
En oförnuftig man tänker inte på det,en dåre förstår det inte.
8
När de ogudaktiga grönskar som gräsoch alla ogärningsmän blomstrar,går de ändå mot evig undergång.
9
Men du, Herre, är den Högste för evigt.
10
Ty se, dina fiender, Herre,se, dina fiender förgås,alla ogärningsmän skingras.
11
Men mitt horn gör du högt som vildoxens,jag övergjuts med frisk olja.
12
Mina ögon får se att mina förföljare faller,mina öron får höra hur det går med de ondasom reser sig mot mig.
13
De rättfärdiga grönskar som palmer,som cedrar på Libanon växer de till.
14
De är planterade i Herrens hus,de grönskar i vår Guds förgårdar.
15
Ännu vid hög ålder bär de frukt,de frodas och grönskarför att förkunna att Herren är rättfärdig.Han är min klippa och ingen orätt finns i honom.
