Okuya bezingekazalwa intaba, nxa ubungadalanga umhlaba nelizwe, kwa kunapakade kude kube ngunapakade, wena ungutixo.

Uyamguqulela entshabalalweni umntu; uti: Buyelani, bonyana babantu!

Ngokuba ebusweni bako iwaka leminyaka injengemini yezolo nxa igqitileyo, na njeng evaṙasho ebusuku.

Uyabakukulisa; ba njeng obutongo: ngokusa banjengenca ebuyayo.

Ngokusa iyahluma, ibuye; ngokuhlwa iyasikwa, ibune.

Ngokuba sigqitywa ngengqumbo yako, situswa nangomsindo wako.
8
Izikohlakalo zetu uzibekile pambi kwako; izono zetu ezifihlakeleyo uzibekile ekukanyeni kwobuso bako.
9
Ngokuba yonke imihla yetu idlula emsindweni wako; siyagqiba iminyaka yetu njengesicamango.
10
Imihla yeminyaka yetu yiminyaka emashumi asixe̔nxe; nanxa iti ngenxa yokwomelela ibe yiminyaka emashumi asibozo, amandla ayo abubunzima nobubi noko; ngokuba inqanyulwa kamsinya, size sibaleke.
11
Ngubanina owazi amandla engqumbo yako, nanjengokwoyikeka kwako umsindo wako?
12
Sazise sibale imihla yetu, ngendawo yokuba sizuze intliziyo yobulumko.
13
Buya, Yehova! kwoba kade kangakananina? uze ube nosizi pezu kwezicaka zako.
14
Sikolise kusasa ngobubele bako, ize sigcobe sivuye yonke imihla yetu.
15
Sivuyise njengokwemihla wabusibandezela ngayo, njengokw eminyaka sabesibona ububi ngayo.
16
Makubonakale izenzo zako ezicakeni zako, nobungcwalisa bako kubantwana bazo.
17
Mabuti ubuhle bukayehova, utixo wetu, bube pezu kwetu: nomsebenzi wezandla zetu uwuqinise pezu kwetu; ewe, umsebenzi wezandla zetu uwuqinise.
