Alegreu-vos, oh justos, en el Senyor, als homes rectes els escau fer-li lloança.
2
Doneu gràcies al Senyor al so de l’arpa, entoneu-li salms amb el llaüt.
3
Canteu-li un càntic nou, entoneu, de bo i millor, l’aclamació.
4
Que la paraula del Senyor és sincera, i tota la seva obra s’acompleix amb fidelitat.
5
Es amant de la justícia i el dret, de la bondat del Senyor en va plena la terra.
6
El cel fou creat amb una paraula del Senyor, i amb una alenada de la seva boca tota l’estelada.
7
Com dins un bot, aplega les aigües de la mar, reté en dipòsits les aigües abismals.
8
Que tota la terra tingui temor del Senyor, i el venerin tots els habitants del món;
9
ell va parlar, i tot fou fet; ell va manar, i tot existí.
10
El Senyor desfà els plans de les nacions, desbarata els propòsits dels pobles;
11
però el designi del Senyor subsis-teix per sempre, els projectes del seu cor, per totes les generacions.
12
Feliç la nació que té el Senyor per Déu, el poble que ell s’ha escollit per heretat!
13
Del cel estant mira el Senyor, veu tots els fills dels homes;
14
del setial de la seva estada esguarda tots els qui poblen la terra.
15
Ell, que ha format tots els seus cors, és qui coneix tots els seus actes.
16
No és vencedor el rei per la munió de tropa, ni resta indemne el soldat per la molta valentia,
17
Poc serveix el cavall per a la victòria, ni amb la seva gran embranzida no pot salvar.
18
Mireu, el Senyor té els ulls posats sobre els fidels, vers els qui confien en la seva amo-rositat,
19
per tal de deslliurar-los de la mort i vetllar la seva subsistència en època de penúria.
20
La nostra ànima confia en el Senyor; ell és el nostre auxili i la nostra protecció.
21
En ell s’alegra el nostre cor, i confiem en el seu sant nom.
22
Sigui la teva gràcia, Senyor, da-munt nostre, tal com ho esperem de tu!
