Davidův. Dobrořeč, má duše, Hospodinu, a celé mé nitro jeho svatému jménu!

Dobrořeč, má duše, Hospodinu, a nezapomínej, co vše vykonal.

On odpouští všechny tvé viny, on uzdravuje všechny tvé nemoci.
4
On vykupuje z jámy tvůj život, korunuje tě milosrdenstvím a slitováním.
5
On napájí tvé trvání dobrem, tvé mládí se obnovuje jako mládí orla.
6
Hospodin zjednává spravedlnost, zjednává právo všem utlačovaným.
7
Dal poznat své cesty Mojžíšovi a synům Izraele své činy.
8
Soucitný a milostivý je Hospodin, pomalý k hněvu a velkého milosrdenství.
9
Nebude se pořád přít a nebude se hněvat věčně.
10
Nenakládá s námi podle našich hříchů, neodplácí nám podle našich provinění.
11
Vždyť jak vysoko jsou nebesa nad zemí, tak mocné je jeho milosrdenství nad těmi, kdo se ho bojí.
12
Jak daleko je východ od západu, tak od nás vzdálil naše přestoupení.
13
Jako má otec soucit se svými syny, tak se slitovává Hospodin nad těmi, kdo se ho bojí.
14
On přece ví, jak jsme utvořeni, pamatuje, že jsme prach.
15
Dny člověka jsou jako tráva, rozkvétá jako polní květ.
16
Vítr na něho zafouká a je po něm, a už si nepovšimnou, že tu není.
17
Ale Hospodinovo milosrdenství je od věků až navěky nad těmi, kdo se ho bojí, a jeho spravedlnost nad syny jeho synů,
18
nad těmi, kdo zachovávají jeho smlouvu a pamatují na jeho přikázání, aby je plnili.
19
Hospodin upevnil svůj trůn na nebesích a jeho kralování vládne všemu.
20
Dobrořečte Hospodinu, jeho andělé, vy mocní hrdinové, kteří činíte jeho slovo, poslušní jeho slova!
21
Dobrořečte Hospodinu všechny jeho zástupy, vy, kdo mu sloužíte a činíte, v čem má zalíbení.
22
Dobrořečte Hospodinu všechny jeho skutky – na všech místech jeho vlády! Dobrořeč, má duše, Hospodinu!
