Haleluja! Chvalte Hospodinovo jméno, chvalte je, Hospodinovi otroci,

kteří stojíte v domě Hospodinově, v nádvořích domu našeho Boha!

Chvalte Hospodina, neboť Hospodin je dobrý, opěvujte jeho jméno, neboť je líbezné!
4
Vždyť Hospodin si vyvolil Jákoba, Izraele za své vlastnictví.
5
Ano, vím, že Hospodin je velký – náš Pán je nade všechny bohy.
6
Hospodin činí vše, co chce – na nebesích, na zemi, v moři i ve všech hlubinách.
7
Přivádí mlhu od končin země, s deštěm působí i blesky, ze svých skladů vyvádí vítr.
8
Egyptské prvorozené pobil od člověka až po dobytče.
9
Seslal znamení a divy doprostřed tebe, Egypte, na faraona a na všechny jeho otroky.
10
Vyhubil mnohé národy a pobil mocné krále –
11
Síchona, krále emorejského, a Óga, krále bášanského, a všechna království Kenaanu
12
a dal jejich zemi v dědictví, v dědictví Izraeli, svému lidu.
13
Hospodine, tvé jméno je věčné! Hospodine, tvá památka od pokolení do pokolení!
14
Vždyť Hospodin zjedná právo svému lidu a nad svými otroky pocítí lítost.
15
Pohanské modlářské zpodobeniny jsou stříbro a zlato, dílo lidských rukou.
16
Mají ústa, a nemluví, mají oči, a nevidí,
17
mají uši, a nenaslouchají. A v jejich ústech není dech.
18
Ti, kdo je zhotovují, budou jako ony, všichni, kdo v ně doufají.
19
Dome Izraelův, dobrořečte Hospodinu! Dome Áronův, dobrořečte Hospodinu!
20
Dome Léviův, dobrořečte Hospodinu! Kdo se bojíte Hospodina, dobrořečte Hospodinu!
21
Požehnán buď Hospodin ze Sijónu – ten, jenž přebývá v Jeruzalémě. Haleluja!
