Miluji Hospodina, vždyť slyší můj hlas, mé úpěnlivé prosby,

naklonil ke mně ucho. Po všechny své dny k němu budu volat.

Omotaly mě provazy smrti, dolehla na mě tíseň podsvětí, postihlo mě soužení a žal.
4
Vzývám však Hospodinovo jméno. Ach, Hospodine, zachraň mou duši!
5
Milostivý je Hospodin a spravedlivý, náš Bůh se slitovává.
6
Hospodin chrání prostoduché. Byl jsem zubožený a on mi pomohl.
7
Vrať se, má duše, do svého odpočinutí, protože Hospodin ti prokázal dobro.
8
Vytrhls mou duši ze smrti, mé oči před slzami, mé nohy před klopýtnutím.
9
Budu chodit před Hospodinem v zemi živých.
10
Důvěřoval jsem, i když jsem říkal: Jsem velmi ponížený.
11
Když jsem se unáhlil, řekl jsem: Každý člověk je lhář.
12
Jak se odvděčím Hospodinu za všechno jeho dobrodiní vůči mně?
13
Zvednu kalich spásy a budu vzývat Hospodinovo jméno.
14
Své sliby Hospodinu splním před veškerým jeho lidem.
15
Vzácná je v očích Hospodinových smrt jeho věrných.
16
Ach, Hospodine, jsem tvůj otrok, tvůj otrok, syn tvé otrokyně; tys mi rozvázal pouta.
17
Tobě obětuji oběť díků a budu vzývat Hospodinovo jméno.
18
Své sliby Hospodinu splním před veškerým jeho lidem,
19
v nádvořích Hospodinova domu, ve tvém středu, Jeruzaléme. Haleluja!
