Ne nás, Hospodine, ne nás, ale své jméno učiň slavným pro své milosrdenství, pro svou věrnost.

Proč mají pohanské národy říkat: Nuže, kdepak je ten jejich Bůh?

Náš Bůh je v nebesích. Činí vše, co si přeje.
4
Jejich modlářské zpodobeniny jsou stříbro a zlato, dílo lidských rukou.
5
Mají ústa, a nemluví, mají oči, a nevidí,
6
mají uši, a neslyší, mají nos, a necítí,
7
mají ruce, a nehmatají, mají nohy, a nechodí, hrdlem ani nehlesnou.
8
Ti, kdo je zhotovují, budou jako ony, všichni, kdo v ně doufají.
9
Izraeli, doufej v Hospodina! On je jejich pomocí a štítem.
10
Dome Áronův, doufej v Hospodina! On je jejich pomocí a štítem.
11
Kdo se bojíte Hospodina, doufejte v něj! On je jejich pomocí a štítem.

Hospodin na nás pamatuje a žehná nám; žehná domu Izraelovu, žehná domu Áronovu,

žehná bojícím se Hospodina, malým i velkým.
14
Kéž vám Hospodin přidá – vám i vašim synům.
15
Jste Hospodinovi požehnaní – on učinil nebesa i zemi.
16
Nebesa, nebesa patří Hospodinu, ale zemi dal synům lidským.
17
Mrtví již nechválí Hospodina, ani nikdo z těch, kdo sestupují do říše ticha.
18
Ale my budeme dobrořečit Hospodinu od nynějška až navěky. Haleluja!
