Belis sukiužo, Nebojas susigūžia; jų stabai sukrauti ant asilų ir galvijų. Tie, kurie turėtų nešti jus, dabar kaip naštos kraunami ant nuvargusių gyvulių.

Gūžiasi, kiūžta ir jie drauge, nuo naštos išsigelbėti negali; jie patys eina į nelaisvę.

Klausykitės manęs, Jokūbo namai, ir jūs, kas likote gyvi iš Izraelio namų! Nuo pat gimimo esate mano našta, išlaikiau jus nuo pat vaikystės.

Liksiu vis tas pats, kai jūs pasensite; kai jūs pražilsite, nešiosiu ir tada. Aš — tas, kuris nešiojau, aš — tas, kuris nešios, aš — tas, kuris jus neš ir išgelbės.

Su kuo palyginsite mane ir su kuo sulyginsite mane? Arba su kuo sugretinsite mane, kad būtume panašūs?

Dosnieji iš kapšio išpila auksą, svarstyklėmis atsveria sidabrą ir pasisamdo auksakalį, kad iš to jiems padarytų dievą, kurį jie garbintų, žemėn kniūbsti puldami.

Dedasi jį ant pečių, nešiojasi visur; kai pastato jį vieton, jis stovi ten sustingęs ir nepajuda iš vietos. Nors jie šaukiasi, jis negali atsiliepti nei išgelbėti jų iš nelaimės.

Atminkite tai ir būkite ryžtingi, dėkitės į širdį, nusidėjėliai!

Atminkite, kas buvo anksčiau, senų senais laikais: aš esu Dievas, ir nėra kito; aš — Dievas, ir nėra tokio kaip aš.

Apreiškiu pabaigą nuo pat pradžios, iš anksto paskelbiu, kas dar įvyks. Tariu: „Mano užmojis bus įvykdytas!“ Aš įvykdysiu visa, kas sumanyta.

Šaukiu iš rytų plėšrų paukštį, iš tolimos šalies žmogų, kad įvykdytų mano užmojį. Kaip kalbėjau, taip ir įvykdysiu, ką užsimojau, tą ir padarysiu.

Klausykitės manęs, užsispyrėliai; jūs esate toli nuo teisumo pergalės.

Aš pats įgyvendinu savo teisumą; jis nebetoli, mano išganymas nevėluos. Aš pats suteiksiu išganymą Sione, Izraeliui suteiksiu savo šlovę.
