Nusipurtyk dulkes, ir sėsk į savo sostą, Jeruzale! Nusimesk grandinę nuo kaklo, belaisve, Siono dukterie!

Juk VIEŠPATS taip sako: „Ne už kainą buvote parduoti ir ne už pinigus būsite atpirkti“.

Taip Viešpats DIEVAS kalba: „Kadaise mano tauta išėjo į Egiptą, kad gyventų ten kaip svetimšaliai. Asirija juos apiplėšė, nieko už tai neduodama.

O dabar ką aš turiu daryti? — Tai VIEŠPATIES žodis. — Mano tauta buvo pagrobta už nieką, o jų engėjai staugia iš džiaugsmo. — Tai VIEŠPATIES žodis. — Mano vardas užgauliojamas kasdien be paliovos.

Todėl mano tauta patirs mano šlovę tą dieną, nes aš tas, kuris tai sako: ‘Štai aš esu!’“

O kokios dailios kalnuose šauklio kojos, to, kuris ateina su linksmąja žinia, skelbdamas ramybę, nešdamas gerąją naujieną, garsindamas išganymą, sakydamas Sionui: „Tavo Dievas viešpatauja!“

Klausykis! Tavo sargybiniai šaukia ir džiūgauja drauge, nes jie mato savo pačių akimis VIEŠPATĮ, grįžtantį į Sioną.

Drauge praplyškite džiaugsmo giesme, Jeruzalės griuvėsiai, nes VIEŠPATS paguodė savo tautą, atpirko Jeruzalę!

VIEŠPATS iškėlė savo šventąją ranką visų tautų akyse. Visi žemės pakraščiai išvys mūsų Dievo išganymą.

Išeikite, išeikite! Palikite tą vietą, nelieskite nieko nešvaraus! Lauk iš ten! Jūs, kurie nešate VIEŠPATIES rykus, išlikite švarūs!

Tačiau neskubėkite eidami, neišeikite kaip bėgliai, nes VIEŠPATS eina jūsų priešakyje, o jūsų užnugaris — Izraelio Dievas.

„Iš tikrųjų mano tarnui seksis, jis bus aukštai iškeltas ir didžiai išaukštintas.

Kaip daugelis juo baisėjosi, nes jis atrodė nežmoniškai sudarkytas, ir buvo nebepanašus į žmogų,

taip daugelis tautų bus jo nustebintos, o karaliai stovės netekę žado. Jie išvys, ko niekada nebuvo jiems apsakyta, ir suvoks, ko niekada nebuvo girdėję“.
