Viešpaties DIEVO dvasia su manimi, nes VIEŠPATS patepė mane, kad neščiau gerąją naujieną vargdieniams. Jis pasiuntė mane guosti prislėgtųjų, skelbti belaisviams laisvę ir atidaryti kalėjimo duris kaliniams,

skelbti VIEŠPATIES malonės metų, mūsų Dievo atpildo dienos, guosti visų liūdinčiųjų

ir suteikti liūdintiems Sione vainiką vietoj pelenų, džiugesio aliejaus — vietoj gedulo, šlovės skraistę — vietoj bailumo, kad galėtų vadintis teisumo ąžuolais — daigynu, VIEŠPATIES sodintu, idant apreikštų jo šlovę.

„Jie prikels senuosius griuvėsius, atstatys seniai apleistas gyvenvietes, atnaujins nuniokotus miestus, tuščius nuo neatmenamų laikų.

Svetimieji jums tarnaus ir gins ganyklon jūsų kaimenes, svetimšaliai bus jūsų artojai ir vynuogininkai.

O jūs būsite pavadinti VIEŠPATIES kunigais, jums į akis bus sakoma: ‘Mūsų Dievo tarnai’. Jūs naudositės tautų nuosavybe, mėgausitės jų turtais.

Kadangi jų gėda buvo dviguba, o užgaulės ir pajuoka buvo jų dalis, savo šalyje jie gaus dvigubą paveldą ir patirs amžiną džiaugsmą,

nes aš, VIEŠPATS, myliu teisingumą ir nekenčiu grobimo ir nusikaltimo. Ištikimai atiduosiu jų atlygį, sudarysiu su jais amžiną Sandorą.

Jų giminė bus įžymi tarp tautų, o jų palikuonys — tarp žmonių. Kas tik juos regės, tas suvoks, jog tai giminė, kurią palaimino VIEŠPATS“.

Visa širdimi džiaugsiuosi VIEŠPAČIU, džiūgausiu savo Dievu, nes jis mane aprengė išganymo drabužiais ir apsupo teisumo skraiste lyg jaunikį, besipuošiantį vainiku, lyg nuotaką, besidabinančią vėriniais.

Kaip žemė išaugina savo ataugas, kaip sodas suželdina savo sėklas, taip Viešpats DIEVAS suželdins teisumą ir šlovę visų tautų akivaizdoje.
