Don àrd-fhear-ciùil, do Iedutun. Salm le Daibhidh. Air Dia a‑mhàin tha m’anam a’ feitheamh; uaithesan thig mo shlàinte.

Is esan a‑mhàin mo charraig agus mo shlàinte; is e mo dhìdean; cha ghluaisear gu mòr mi.
3
Cia fhad a dhealbhas sibh aimhleas an aghaidh duine? Marbhar sibh uile; mar bhalla ag aomadh, mar ghàrradh air chrith bidh sibh.
4
A‑mhàin a‑chum a thilgeadh sìos o a àirde tha iad a’ gabhail comhairle le chèile; is miann leo breugan; lem beul beannaichidh iad, ach nan cridhe mallaichidh iad. Selah.
5
A‑mhàin air Dia feith, O m’anam, oir is ann uaithesan a tha mo dhòchas.
6
Is esan a‑mhàin mo charraig agus mo shlàinte; is e mo dhìdean; cha ghluaisear mi.
7
Ann an Dia tha mo shlàinte agus mo ghlòir; carraig mo neirt, mo thèarmann is e Dia.
8
Cuiribh air gach àm ur dòigh ann, O a shluagh; dòirtibh a‑mach ur cridhe na fhianais; tha Dia na thèarmann dhuinn. Selah.
9
Gu cinnteach tha clann Adhaimh nan dìomhanas, clann an duine nam brèig; air meidh ma chuirear iad, is aotroime iad gu lèir na dìomhanas.
10
Na earbaibh à fòirneart, agus à reubainn na dèanaibh uaill; nuair a dh’fhàsas saoibhreas, na cuiribh ur cridhe air.
11
Aon uair labhair Dia; dà uair chuala mi seo, gur le Dia cumhachd.
12
Mar an ceudna dhutsa, a Thighearna, buinidh tròcair, oir bheir thu luigheachd do dhuine a rèir a obrach.
