Salm le Asaph. A Dhè, thàinig na cinnich a‑steach dod oighreachd; thruaill iad do theampall naomh; dh’fhàg iad Ierusalem na cùirn.

Thug iad cuirp do sheirbhiseach mar bhiadh do eunlaith nan speur, feòil do naomh do fhiadh-bheathaichean na talmhainn.
3
Dhòirt iad am fuil mar uisge timcheall Ierusaleim, agus cha robh neach gu an adhlacadh.
4
Tha sinn nar masladh dar coimhearsnaich, nar n‑adhbhar fanaid agus magaidh dhaibhsan a tha mun cuairt oirnn.
5
Cia fhad, a Thighearna, a bhios fearg ort? Gu bràth an las d’eud mar theine?
6
Dòirt do chorraich air na cinnich aig nach eil eòlas ort, agus air na rìoghachdan nach gairm air d’ainm;
7
Oir chuir iad as do Iàcob, agus rinn iad a àite-còmhnaidh na fhàsach.
8
Na cuimhnich thusa nar n‑aghaidh ar n‑euceartan roimhe seo; gu luath gabhadh do thròcairean romhainn, oir thugadh gu ro‑ìosal sinn.
9
Cuidich leinn, a Dhè ar slàinte, air sgàth glòir d’ainme, agus teasairg sinn, agus glan ar peacaidhean uainn airson d’ainme fhèin.
10
Carson a theireadh na cinnich, Càit a bheil an Dia? Aithnichear am measg nan cinneach fa chomhair ar sùl dìoghaltas fuil do sheirbhiseach, a dhòirteadh!
11
Thigeadh osnaich a’ phrìosanaich ad làthair, a rèir meud do neirt; saor thusa iadsan a dh’òrdaicheadh a‑chum bàis.
12
Agus ìoc dar coimhearsnaich a sheachd uiread nam broilleach, am masladh leis an do mhaslaich iad thusa, a Thighearna.
13
Agus molaidh sinne, do shluagh agus caoraich d’ionaltraidh, thusa gu bràth; o linn gu linn cuiridh sinn an cèill do chliù.
