Tha m’anam a’ miannachadh, seadh, eadhon a’ fannachadh le dèidh air cùirtean an Tighearna; tha mo chridhe agus m’fheòil ag èigheach gu h‑àrd airson an Dè bheò.

Fhuair eadhon an gealbhan taigh, agus an gòbhlan-gaoithe nead dhi fhèin anns an cuireadh i a h‑àlach; d’altairean-sa, a Thighearna nan slògh, mo Dhia agus mo Rìgh.

Is beannaichte an duine sin aig a bheil a neart annadsa, agus iadsan aig a bheil do shlighean nan cridhe.

A’ dol tro ghleann Baca, nì iad sin tobar ann; lìonaidh mar an ceudna an t‑uisge na linneachan.

Imichidh iad o neart gu neart; nochdar gach aon dhiubh an làthair Dhè ann an Sion.

A Thighearna Dhè nan slògh, cluinn m’ùrnaigh; èisd, a Dhè Iàcoib. Selah.

A Dhè ar sgiath, faic agus amhairc air gnùis d’Aoin ungte;

Oir is fheàrr là ad chùirtean na mìle; b’fheàrr leam a bhith ri dorsaireachd ann an taigh mo Dhè na a bhith am chòmhnaidh ann am pàilleanan aingidheachd;
11
Oir is grian agus is sgiath an Tighearna, agus bheir an Tighearna gràs agus glòir; cha chùm e math air bith uapasan a ghluaiseas gu h‑ionraic.
